Queen Letizia of Spain Wore Carolina Herrera To The Coronation of King Charles III

Queen Letizia of Spain was easily one of my favourites of the notable guests who attended the coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on Saturday (May 6) in London.

The Spanish monarch is known for her style and sophistication, as she always finds the right balance between looking elegant and event appropriate.

On this occasion, Queen Letizia gave her royal seal of approval to the Barbiecore trend wearing a custom Carolina Herrera pink suit.

The colour was striking enough, but the peplum and embroidery details made this look stand out even more.

Once you commit to a colour like this, you kinda have to go the whole way which she did styling her look with a signature Carolina Herrera Scala Insignia clutch and matching slingbacks.

Commenters on Twitter likened her Balel Dome woven hat to a lampshade, but the woven hat appeared to be a nod to Spain’s ancient straw-weaving traditions.

Diamond earrings that belonged to Queen Victoria Eugenie completed her look.
