Riley Keough attended the Cartier High Jewelry event held on Tuesday (May 23) in Florence, Italy.
The actress has been affiliated with a few brands (Gucci and Saint Laurent), but I’m currently enjoying this less predictable phase of her style.
For this occasion, she wore a Loewe draped silk dress in silk with gold metal sphere brooch from the Fall 2023 collection.
Jonathan Anderson’s high-octane aesthetic frequently experiments with lines of asymmetry, manipulating the luxe fabrications into unexpected shapes, and this dress is a testament to that.
I would love to see this dress in person, because I’m still totally confused as to how it stays up.
I can only imagine that there is some kind of corset trickery because it’s definitely not a halter dress, as I originally assumed at first glance on the runway, and it’s not held up by the brooch.
Either way it’s a beautiful design.
One that didn’t need a necklace, but considering the event, it was par for the course.
