Simone Ashley attended the world premiere of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ on Monday (May 8) in Hollywood, California.
The British actress’ love affair with Versace continued as she stepped onto the red carpet wearing a look from the Atelier Versace Spring 2023 collection.
This draped neon fuchsia mini dress featuring a crushed chiffon and organza abstract bow cascading from one side is beautiful, but I can’t help but wonder how much better it would’ve been had the lace embroidered part been a match for her skin tone like the model who wore it in the look book.
It’s probably not a consideration for most, but this was literally the first thing I thought about when I saw it.
If I was a Couture client and this dress caught my eye. The first thing I would ask for is a shade of lace that was closer to my complexion.
