There is nothing I love more than going through the Armani Privé archives as everything is as relevant today, as it was back then.
Take the peplum skirt for example, as peplums have made a comeback in 2023; as seen on the runways of Christopher Kane, Alexander McQueen and JW Anderson, plus Michelle Yeoh had a moment with peplums at the start of awards season.
My only wish for this Armani Privé Fall 2016 look is that Yao didn’t add the Pomellato necklace.
This is Cannes, and lavish jewels are a prerequisite, but the chain link necklace clashes with the top and doesn’t work with the style of her look.
In this case the earrings and rings would have sufficed.
