2023 Tony Awards

Here is a look at the men who graced the red carpet at the 2023 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 11).

Everything about Ben Platt’s look feels big.

His LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi suit feels big as does his shoes, but everything was in proportion.

I particularly love the cut and the fit of the blazer.

He’s got the bodybuilder wide lats look going on.

Aside from all the winners, Thom Browne had a great night at the Tony Awards.

Firstly, with Jodie Comer, and again with Colman Domingo who was at his usual sharp, handsome and impeccable best in this notched lapel suit.

I’m fascinated by the fabric.  The sheen is beautiful.

Are we stepping into a new red carpet era with Thom Browne?

David Yurman jewels, and a Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle Tourbillon Retrograde Date Openface timepiece completed his look.

Common also opted for a classic tux styled with Fred Leighton Jewels.

Jordan E. Cooper was brave to rock a leather Off-White suit for the occasion.

I love the style, and how he stood out.  But I don’t even want to begin to imagine just how hot he was.

I’m usually a big fan of Jordan Roth’s style, but I struggled to get on board with this Ludovic de Saint Sernin look.

It’s veering into the satanic for me.

Justin Cooley was easily one of my favourites in this watercolor Grayscale suit.

He was a breath of fresh air among all the traditional suits.

It was nice to see some flair, which went right down to his green velvet shoes.

Could Luke Evans look more handsome in Dolce & Gabbana?

What a match made in heaven.

Samuel L. Jackson, who was nominated for Best Featured Actor in a Play for his work in ‘The Piano Lesson,’ turned to his favourite label, Giorgio Armani.

I always associate seersucker with a summery colours, but this Made to Measure suit was rendered in a midnight hue.

Atelier Cillian always uses very intriguing fabrics.

Skylar Astin’s suit might be considered heavy by some, but I love the uniqueness of it.

Will Swenson was not to be missed in his sequined Philipp Plein blazer.

I love Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.  But I’m not a fan of the slate blue satin fabric on his custom Ferragamo double breasted suit.

It’s just so unforgiving despite the sharpness of the cut and the design.

Give me this in the same fabrication as Luke or Colman, and this would’ve been my favourite look.
