We can’t forget the menswear looks which graced the red carpet for the ‘Asteroid City’ New York premiere this week, where most of the actors served up retro styling that nodded to Wes Anderson’s spirit.

I must start with Jeff Goldblum who lit up the red carpet with this style, smile, and love for all things Prada.

The label was made for someone with his charisma, so you shouldn’t be surprised that he opted for the blue, pink and yellow version of this Fall 2023 look, with the exaggerated collar and fuzzy yellow detailing on this Panama coat stealing the spotlight.

Are my eyes deceiving me?

Surely this isn’t Adrien Brody opting to wear a suit that is not black.

This has to be a first, I don’t even need to look over his style file to confirm.

The actor served up a fresh new look wearing a Brioni light beige suit which is the perfect summer premiere look.

Linen can be unreliable, so I love how slickness of this silk blend suit.

Black Brioni boots completed his look.

Georgina Chapman was of course wearing her own Marchesa design, which proved that sheer gowns don’t have to be revealing.

Bryan Cranston was my second favourite on this red carpet after Jeff in this shade of copper Paul Smith suit.

I had tears of joy in my eyes when I saw that the look featured matching shoes.

Rupert Friend

Rupert Friend’s suit was ‘70s inspired both in terms of style and colour.

Yes, the trousers are about two inches too long, resulting in puddling on the floor, but I’m still here for the retro vibes, and how the colour complements his tan.
