Catherine, Princess of Wales Wore Alessandra Rich To The Order Of The Garter Service

Catherine, Princess of Wales and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh attended the Order Of The Garter Service held at Windsor Castle on Monday (June 19) in Windsor.

At first, I thought this Alessandra Rich dress was a rerun from Ascot 2022, but it’s a completely different dress.

We can now add this dress to the list of Alessandra Rich polka dot dresses that the Princess owns.

She also wore Alessandra Rich polka dots to the Wimbledon championships in 2022, and in 2021, plus her Bletchley Park visit.

Considering that the Princess likes to wear polka dots when the month starts with a J, this look was right on track.

I like the dress, but the styling felt very matronly.  Especially when compared to how fresh and modern she looked at the Trooping The Colour event.

The beige Strathberry bag didn’t complement her dress at all, which surprised me the most, because the Princess is usually on point when it comes to colour coordinating her clutches.

Jennifer Chamandi black and white pumps amped up the My Fair Lady vibes, along with the Philip Treacy hat.

Call me crazy, but I prefer Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh in her floral Emilia Wickstead dress.  It feels more suited to the event.

A Jane Taylor London hat and Emmy London pumps completed her look.
