Catherine, Princess of Wales Wore Self-Portrait To The Reopening Of The National Portrait Gallery

On Tuesday (June 20), Catherine, Princess of Wales attended the official reopening of the National Portrait Gallery which had been under construction for more than three years.

Her visit comes two days after the Trooping the Colour parade, and a day after the ceremony of the Order of the Garter.

This event fell on the same day as the opening of Royal Ascot, which is why both Catherine and William didn’t join King Charles and Queen Camilla.

As we know, Catherine loves a Self-Portrait blazer dress – her second dress from the label – which is designed to look like two-pieces.

The look was styled with a new Chanel Wallet On A Chain quilted bag, Heavenly London Pearl and Diamond earrings and Aquazzura Bow Tie black suede pumps.

I wasn’t a fan of her Order of the Garter look on account of the styling, but this feels more modern, cohesive and effortless.
