Rebecca Ferguson, who is the queen of dark dressing, opted for something new for the ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ premiere, held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Thursday (June 22) in London.
New, borrowed, but not blue, the actress wore a pale gold gown from Vivienne Westwood’s Spring 2023 Bridal collection, which was inspired by the swirling grandiosity of the cosmos.
I love how the defined drapery of the corseted column gown is reminiscent of Ancient Greek statues, and how the pearl embellished chains dance across the asymmetric neckline and enhance the Westwood signature subversive aesthetic.
I’m sure this resonated with the actress first, before falling in love with the romantic nature of the gown.
Both the hair and the makeup played into the Ancient Greek statue vibe.
