Pom Klementieff attended the press conference for her new film ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ in Seoul today (June 29) where she exploded with colour and flare with a new look which was very much on brand for her.
The purple and red dress hails from the Pierre Cardin 2022 ‘Cosmocorps 3022’ collection, which was presented in tribute to the late designer last year.
The show included nearly 200 designs from the archives and brand-new pieces by the house’s current team, inspired by the designer’s legacy.
Considering that the designer was ahead of his time with his Space Age Couture looks that were first presented back in the ‘60s, I’m not sure if Pom’s look is an archival look or brand new, which is a testament to Pierre Cardin’s work, and now, his legacy.
The mix of colours can’t be played down, but the twist front detail which flares into a sculptural neckpiece, is the highlight of this look.
I will also highlight the matching cap-toe pumps, as we haven’t always been enamoured by Pom’s footwear choices, but she nailed it on this occasion.
