Jodie Comer's Steps Into Summer With Gabriela Hearst, Valentino, St. John & Khaite

Jodie Comer has been wearing black for some time, so I was delighted to see her dip into her summer wardrobe for her recent red carpet appearances.

For the ‘Tony Awards Meet The Nominees’ press event in New York City, the British actress wore an ivory Gabriela Hearst Leiva blazer and Rhein trousers from the Spring 2023 collection, which saw her take her usual minimalist approach.

I love how the suit delivers optimum sophistication with simple details, like its elongated profile and vest, which could start trending again.

White Gianvito Rossi sandals completed her look.

For the Drama League Awards the actress switched gears wearing a Valentino jumpsuit fused with the timeless appeal of polka dots which enliven the one-piece, and proves that Jodie isn’t afraid to wear a bold, graphic print.

The same Gianvito Rossi white sandals completed her look.

There are some pieces that should always be considered a must (a non-negotiable, if you will), and that is a good pair of tailored trousers is.

Does Jodie Comer’s St. John Resort 2024 look for the 2023 Outer Critics Circle Awards signal that flares are about to make another comeback?

Gold Maison Ernest Lidylle sandals completed her look.

St. John Resort 2024

Last night Jodie attended The Theatre World Awards in New York City where she returned back to the colour she tends to prefer: black.

You may have thought this look was Saint Laurent, but her Malek jacket and Zeke dress hail from the Khaite Pre-Fall 2023, and Fall 2023 collection respectively.

Does anyone wish that Jodie had worn the white version of this look?

I may have said yes, had she not delivered the first two looks.

Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Ana Khouri earrings provided the finishing touches.
