Everyone else is in Italy, but Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are in Paris. Over the weekend, the married couple, who welcomed their fourth child together earlier this year, were photographed holding hands on the streets of the French capital. Lively’s outfit was the perfect example of summer layering done right—the kind that would make Serena Van der Woodsen proud (although she might be disappointed with the lack of layered necklaces).
For an afternoon lunch at the renowned restaurant La Poule au Jar by Chef J.F. Piègein, Lively wore a white maxi button-down shirt dress with a black floral pattern. The dress cinches at the waist and features a collar and black buttons. Over the dress, the Gossip Girl star wore a light camel duster sweater. And over that, she wore a navy blue overcoat with vertical white stripes. Lively accessorized with a pair of sneakers worn with striped tube socks and a hot pink crossbody bag with a gold chain strap. She wore minimal makeup and wore her signature blonde hair down and parted to the side.
Reynolds also wore a casual look for the outing. The Deadpool star wore a striped button-down over a white T-shirt paired with black trousers, a navy blue baseball cap, and aviators. For footwear, he wore sambas, a.k.a. the celebrity shoe of the moment (his are white with greens stripes).
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds met on the set of the 2011 film Green Lantern, while both actors were seeing other people (Reynolds was married to Scarlett Johansson and Lively was dating Penn Badgley). But in 2011 dating rumors circulated, and the couple got married under the radar in 2012. The couple has four children together.
