As long as we’re all still talking about “quiet luxury,” Jennifer Garner is here to demonstrate how to turn jeans-and-a-tee into an actual look with a simple fabric upgrade.
Instead of a basic cotton T-shirt, the actor wore a short-sleeved cashmere top which she half-tucked into classic straight-leg jeans. To complete the ensemble, Garner added a pair of eye-catching plum sneakers and sunglasses. The neutral color looks fancy, but not too fancy, giving Jen just the right amount of rich mom energy.

Garner shares three kids with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, Seraphina, Samuel, and Violet (who we’ve recently learned is basically her mom’s twin). “My kids don’t love to watch me in things.” Garner told InStyle in April, talking about her new series The Last Thing He Told Me. “It’s different. They don’t mind watching their dad. They don’t want to see me sad and they don’t want to see me in a romance. They don’t love seeing me play someone else’s mom, honestly. I don’t know if they’ll watch this.”
Not that I expect Hollywood to stop casting Jennifer Garner in mom roles any time soon. Because if anyone can really pull off rich mom energy and make it look relatable, as you can see, it’s her.
