Earlier this week, celebrity stylist Andrew Mukamal posted a few more looks from Margot Robbie’s ‘Barbie’ promo tour, which eases the pain of the tour being cut so abruptly.
These three looks are press junket looks rather than looks that we would have seen for the Paris and New York premieres.
I’m very hopeful that we will see those looks further down the line once the SAG-AFTRA strike is over. Even if it’s an Instagram shoot.
The first look Andrew posted was this metallic Versace pink dress.
This may have been mistaken for a vintage Versace dress considering Margot wore those same shoes and socks for the Sydney fan event, but this dress hails from the Versace x Dua Lipa Pre-Fall 2023 collection.
The fun accessories sold the look to me.
This hot-pink Versace button crop top and mini skirt is one of my favourites from the tour.
Mostly because of the vibrant hue, but also for how it’s such a huge departure from what we are used to seeing from Margot.
I almost mistook her Judith Leiber Bow Top bag for the Self-Portrait The Bow bag, as they both feature…you guessed it…a bow on the front.
There was only one way to complete this look, and it was a matchy pair of Barbie inspired mules from Manolo Blahnik.
This third Versace Greca-jacquard ruched mini dress is from the Mexican leg of the tour.
Fiercely feminine with its vibrant pink hue this dress is elevated by the all over Versace logo and La Greca motif achieving instant appeal.
The ruching detailing adds an intricate touch, whilst its mini length offers a sultry, yet fun touch, which is consistent with all her press junket looks.
