Megan Fox Wore Jean Paul Gaultier's Body Morphing Dress For The 'Gram

Considering how quiet things are, I took a much-needed vacation which I have been promising myself since the end of Cannes Film Festival, but I’m back; albeit at a reduced capacity as the SAG strike is still very much active.

I’m returning with Megan Fox, who has jumped on this Jean Paul Gaultier body morphing striped dress trend kinda late.

The Jean Paul Gaultier optical illusion dress was first sent down the runway during the designer’s Spring 1996 ‘Cyberbaba’ collection.

But it was Kim Kardashian who brought it back into the public eye when she attended the People’s Choice Awards back in November 2018.

Anitta also wore the dress to the 2021 Heat Awards; as did many other celebrities including Jordyn Woods, Mabel, and I’m sure many more.

Considering Megan’s figure and lust for an eye-catching design, I’m not surprised to see her wearing this Jean Paul Gaultier’s dress.

The undulating stripe print beautifully follows her body’s natural contours, creating a sculpted optical illusion.

When Megan posted this image on Instagram, she tried to temper the situation as she knew people would be coming for her in the comments by saying, “before you start angrily typing- those are not my nipples, calm down. they are safely and completely hidden under nipple covers so no worries, we will all live another day without a rip in the space-time continuum.”

Did you enjoy how this look transported you back to the 2000s, and love how this illustrious design was inspired by the archives?

Or are you already over this reissued design?

Dylan Lex necklaces and Femme Donatella Mule sandals completed Megan’s look.

This is likely to be an unpopular opinion, but I love this for Megan. It sits perfectly in her wheelhouse, as I wasn’t a fan of her “inspired by MGK” era.
