Pom Klementieff Wore Rabanne To The ‘Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One’ Sydney Photocall

Pom Klementieff attended a photocall for the ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One’ held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal on Sunday (July 2) in Sydney, Australia.

You may be about to point out an error in the title, but Paco Rabanne has undergone a rebranding exercise, adopting the name: Rabanne.

Dropping the designer’s first name is a way of creating longevity for the brand: making it eternal. It also marks the passage of a label’s status to a global brand (see Dior, Versace, Saint Laurent, Maison Margiela, LaPointe and Simkhai).

In Rabanne’s case, the refresh, which includes a new logo, comes ahead of the inaugurate flagship New York boutique.

The name may have changed, but Julien Dossena is still inspired by the late Paco Rabanne’s designs, as this white assemblage mini dress was inspired by an archive look from 1967.

The original dress had a different neckline, but was still constructed with rectangular plates joined with metal rings.

I’m not sold on Pom’s styling with the white socks and black shoes, even though the shoes melt into the black carpet.
