Whitney Port Says She's Prioritizing Her Health After Husband Worries She's ‘Too Thin

Whitney Port is taking action after her husband of eight years, Tim Rosenman, expressed concern about her weight.

In an Instagram Story posted on Monday, July 24, the former reality star said that she’s been receiving messages from concerned fans about her weight that she initially wrote off as “people not knowing what my diet looks like.” However, when her husband brought up the issue—”as a good husband should,” she noted—she realized that the concerns could be more than the typical peanut gallery commentary from strangers.

“He has been worried about me,” she wrote over a photo of herself and her five-year-old son, Sonny. “I had to think about it and try to figure out what has been happening because it’s not something I’m consciously thinking about!”

“I eat to live, not the other way around,” she continued. “But after stepping on the scale it hit me. It’s not something I strive for. I always feel hungry but just don’t know what to eat. It’s not how I want to look or feel though. My excuses are that I’m too lazy to make feeding myself a priority or I’m too picky when it comes to taste and quality. Both are unacceptable and I don’t want to set an unhealthy example so I promised Timmy and I’ll promise you that my health will be a priority.”
