Giacomo Ferrara promoted his new film ‘SuburraEterna’ during the 2023 Rome Film Festival, where he was decked out exclusively in Matthew M. Williams’ Givenchy Spring 2024 collection.
I must admit. Even though I’m a strong advocate of trousers being tailored to the perfect length, the portions of the wide but soft-shouldered double-breasted jackets, with the loose and boxy, over wide trousers are perfect.
This is how you sell the oversize trend to me.
Note how the trousers are long, but not dragging on the floor, and the elegant way that they drape and fall thanks to the silk fabric.
Perfetto.
I’m not even going to complain about the Givenchy black leather Squared derbies, as Giacomo sold the total look to me.
The trousers remained over wide, and the Givenchy jacket was more streamlined, yet I am just as mesmerised by Giacomo’s look for the ‘SuburraEterna’ premiere as this is a perfect mix of classic and contemporary.
