Sonam Kapoor Ahuja also attended the Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival on Friday (October 27) in India.
The actress dazzled on the red carpet living up to her fashionista of Bollywood status wearing a Tamara Ralph black velvet corset bustier long sleeve top, with a pearl and crystal encrusted cage skirt from the Fall 2023 Couture collection.
This look comes as no surprise to me, as Sonam is known for her flamboyant sense of style.
What I love most about this look is how it pays homage to the golden era of Hollywood, with its elegant, and classic aesthetic while possessing modern, structural techniques.
I can live without the black felt cage hat, which she wore in her Instagram photo shoot, but I’m glad Sonam kept the oversized pearl necklace and matching earrings for the red carpet, as I feel the look might have been unbalanced without them.
A matte bold red lip completed her look.
