Akshata Murty wore Saloni to the State Banquet South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol

Britain’s Prime Minister Rishi Sunak with his wife Akshata Murty welcomed Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol at the State Banquet held at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday (November 21).

Akshata Murty looked absolutely breath-taking wearing a Saloni Adele hammered silk-satin maxi dress which I adore for the sweeping silhouette, simplicity and grace.

This muted shade of dark red was firstly very complementary to her skin tone, and secondly, the colour makes an impact without her stealing the spotlight from the other dignitaries.

Elegantly cinched at the waist, the dress is finished with bows at the back which matched her red heels.

This was my second favourite look of this event following Lisa from Blackpink.

Earlier today (November 22), Yoon Suk Yeol paid a visit to Number 10 Downing Street where he was welcomed by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murty.

This Self-Portrait should be recognisable to you because Catherine, Princess of Wales wore a similar dress to the Royal College of Midwives back in April last year.

I say similar, because Catherine’s version doesn’t have the same pleated skirt we can see here on Akshata, and as it appeared in the designers look book.

I love how she switched up the styling adding a black belt which seamlessly ties in her boots.
