Alicia Keys attended the ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ opening night held at The Public Theater on Sunday (November 19) in New York City.
The singer rocked a denim on denim look from the Schiaparelli Fall 2023 collection which featured Daniel Roseberry’s favoured anatomical references in the form of gold-tone eyes, ears and lips.
My first thought was that the cropped jacket is too big for her – judging by the bunching on the sleeves – however the key to pulling off this look for me, lies in the cowboy pants, which I believe Alicia does.
When Maya Hawke wore this same look during Cannes Film Festival for ‘Asteroid City’ back in May, our feelings were that it wasn’t the right look for a photocall by the French Riviera, plus we were very much in our feelings following her bizarre premiere look.
Style, persona and aura-wise – despite the slightly oversize fit – Alicia was able to pull this off for me.
She brings that je ne sais quoi energy to this look, which I wasn’t getting from Maya.
