Prince Williams’s third Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony was held in Singapore on Tuesday (November 7).
The Earthshot Prize is awarded to five winners each year for their contributions to environmentalism. It was first awarded in 2021 and is planned to run annually until 2030.
Each winner receives a grant of £1 million to continue their environmental work.
Cate Blanchett – a long-time environmentalist – who has continued repeating our favourite red carpet looks – most recently for the Alexander McQueen Spring 2024 show – opted for what is now, a rare fresh off the runway look.
Yet sustainable fashion is still at the heart of this three-piece suit, as it hails from Stella McCartney’s Spring 2024 collection.
This collection was crafted from 95% responsible materials and is the label’s most sustainable collection to date.
Cate’s metallic brocade tailored suit is all about texture, proportion and decoration which appears to be inspired by The Beatles, if you consider the flares which took off in the mid-‘60s, the same time as the iconic band.
I love how Cate’s flares defined silhouette and how they were tailored to perfection, which I expect considering Stella’s Savile Row training.
