‘Past Lives’ actress Greta Lee attended the 2023 SCAD Savannah Film Festival on Friday (October 27) in Georgia, where she was presented with the Spotlight Award.
I was going to say that hats are back – if we also take Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s WSJ. Magazine 2023 Innovator Awards look into account – but were they ever a thing on the red carpet?
Pharrell Williams would say yes. Along with Tim McGraw, Jennifer Lopez and Billy Porter of course.
Florence Pugh had a one and done outing, as well as Kate Beckinsale, Alex Scott and Billie Piper.
So, in answer to my own question, yes, hats are back.
When we saw this white suit in the look book for The Row’s Spring 2024 collection, I don’t think any of us expected to see the hat on the red carpet too.
Especially this style of pillbox hat, which is quite niche in terms of style, as the go-to hat of the moment is wide brimmed.
This is the style of hat we usually seen worn by a princess or a duchess.
So did Greta pull it off?
I love how she continues to bring us something unique on the red carpet. I love the look from head-to-toe.
