Kim Cattrall attended the 2023 Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards in London on Tuesday (November 7), where she presented Marina Abramovic, whose work is currently being exhibited at the Royal Academy Of Arts, with the Writer Award.
I’m going to get straight to the point.
When it comes to Kim in this Balmain structured dress with sequin embroidery from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection, my first, second and third thought was…it’s not working.
We all know that that the pagoda shoulder isn’t the easiest of looks to pull off. You even struggled to love Cate Blanchett’s outing.
I want to blame the hairstyle for pulling down the look, but ultimately, the dress looks incredibly dated on Kim.
I wish this was a fun ode to the ‘80s – which I feel was the intention.
This dress didn’t work for me on Alison Brie who wore the same dress back in February, and it doesn’t work for me here.
However, Kim did look like she was having fun in her dress, and that’s all that matters.
Kim styled her look with the Balmain B-Buzz clutch and Balmain shoes.
