‘May December’ LA Premiere with Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman, Julianne Moore, and Charles Melton attended the ‘May December’ LA premiere, which they first started promoting back in May during Cannes Film Festival, which gave us one of the best red carpet looks of the year.

Did Chanel and Dior put their ambassador’s contracts on pause during the SAG-AFTRA strike, because we’ve seen both Margot Robbie and Natalie Portman respectively, wear looks from Schiaparelli for their first outing post-strike.

You weren’t fans of Margot’s look, so I’m interested in your thoughts about Natalie’s Schiaparelli Spring 2024 ready to wear look, especially considering the modifications.

Personally, I only like the top half, the waistband ruins the allure for me, it’s too long, and this results in the skirt appearing limp.

But looking at the runway skirt, I would say she made the better choice of the two.

I don’t mind the “ready in 5 minutes” look, so long as there is some finesse to it which I always get from Camila Morrone.

However, Julianne Moore’s feels like a “rushed 5 minutes” look.

A necklace, some statement earrings, or something was needed to distract me from how droopy this Prada dress was, and how the fabric just didn’t hold up because the gown is an inch or two too long.

When it comes to Charles Melton, all is not what it seems, as the actor is wearing two pairs of trousers from Balenciaga.

This picture has a better angle of what I am talking about, as Charles’ trousers are layered with another pair of trousers.

It’s an interesting take on the oversize trend if I ever saw one, but ultimately, the look swallowed his torso.

Chopard jewels including a L.U.C Time Traveler One timepiece completed his look.

It’s been a long while since we last saw Gaten Matarazzo on the red carpet, but judging by this Kidsuper Fall 2023 suede landscape print red suit, he hasn’t lost any of his flare, much to my delight.

This guy has always had a lot of swag.
