Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, & Cheryl Visit BBC Radio 2

Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh, and Cheryl paid a visit to the BBC Radio 2 to announce the comeback of Girls Aloud on Thursday (November 23) in London, after the band originally broke up in 2013.

On the radio show, Cheryl said that their upcoming reunion tour is “never going to be the same” without bandmate Sarah Harding, two years on from her passing.

If you remember Girls Aloud the first time around, you recall co-ordinated outfits, lots of bold colours, and micro hemlines that were indicative of the pop era at the time, and their ages as early 20 something year olds.

Considering that they are older, wiser, and mothers, their style has also matured.

Nadine Coyle was never the fashion girl of the group, and this look confirms that nothing has changed.

The fashion girl of the group was always Nicola Roberts, who opted for a classic Vivienne Westwood plaid suit, with a pair of Paris Texas Stiletto croc-effect leather knee boots in a rich reddish brown.

I’m obsessed with the Britishness of this look, along with the rich wintery tones.

Kimberley Walsh is my favourite here, showing us how double denim can look both polished and sophisticated wearing a Veronica Beard Anoki Dickey jacket and Rennert denim pants from the Fall 2023 collection, which I’m sure you will prefer over Alicia Keys double denim moment.

Cheryl, who had the biggest solo success from the group after they split, opted for layers, and plenty of them.

The look kinda feels thrown together without much consideration.

The burgundy turtleneck and Ralph Lauren houndstooth tweed wool-blend blazer are the only things I would save from this look.

Girls Aloud will be hitting the road May and June, 2024.
