Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore attended the Deadline Contenders Film: Los Angeles event for ‘May December,’ held at the Director’s Guild of America on Saturday (November 18), where they both actresses wore red.
A Dior-less Natalie Portman wore a dress which you will instantly recognise as an Alessandra Rich dress.
I love the ditsy print that dances over this piece, and I’m grateful that this red puff sleeve dress doesn’t feature the label’s signature white contrasting collar.
Mostly because we’ve seen so many of those styles of dresses, and because the collar doesn’t work for everyone unless your name is Catherine, Princess of Wales or Michelle Williams.
After the LA premiere, Julianne Moore was sticking to the colour red.
For this outing she wore a High Sport Bianca stretch-cotton knit top and long kick flared stretch-cotton knit pants which I much prefer over her Prada premiere dress.
This look feels so much more in tune with Julianne’s no-fuss style. I love the easy wearability of this look, and this style of this emerging label.
I have a feeling we will see a lot more of them in the future.
