Penelope Cruz attended the 2023 Gotham Awards held at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday (November 27) in New York City.
I kinda don’t know what to say anymore, other than this really hurt my feelings.
I mean. It’s some feat to make a woman this beautiful look this bad, and on a regular basis.
Imagine dressing Penelope Cruz in white 1950s inspired nightgown from Chanel’s Fall 2023 collection, with undergarments a few shades too light for her skin-tone.
Then adding black accessories to the look, before sending your client onto a red carpet for the world to see.
Really?
I give up. And I think it is a bit lazy of us to say that it’s just a Chanel, because I’m blaming this firmly on the dress selection and styling.
There are stylists out here making magic happen with less. Let’s call a spade a spade.
We could all have picked better options from Chanel for Penelope.
I’m actually furious.
