Rooney Mara Wore Vintage Dolce & Gabbana To The 'Napoleon' Paris Premiere

Rooney Mara returned to the red carpet for the first time since the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, to support her husband Joaquin Phoenix in Paris for the world premiere of his new film, ‘Napoleon’ held at Salle Pleyel on Tuesday (November 14) in Paris.

As we all remember, from her last outing, and the outing prior in John Galliano, Rooney is all about sustainable fashion, so rather than wear looks straight off the runway, she prefers to select looks from past seasons.

On this occasion she wore a black silk top and bustled skirt with fringe detailing from the Dolce & Gabbana Fall 1993 collection.

Some of you are already rolling your eyes, because, yes, this is a very typical Rooney Mara look, but you also should consider that this wasn’t her premiere, and she was there in a support capacity.

And yes.  Even if this was her premiere, she was likely to have worn this too.

I’m just happy we got a gorgeous smile from her on this occasion.
