Two heads are better than one. Many hands make light work. No one can whistle a symphony.
Here at SG HQ, we’re totally onboard the teamwork train. Especially as the holidays approach and honestly? We’ve got a lot on our plates. Which is why we asked our pal Barron Cuadro of men’s style blog Effortless Gent to brainstorm with us on a few stylish Nike sneaker outfits to wear with three different pairs from our friends at Nike.
Don’t worry, we won’t ask you to pick your favorites. They’re all #SGapproved in our book.
Below, check out 6 casual sneaker outfits, styled by Style Girlfriend and Effortless Gent:

STYLE GIRLFRIEND SAYS: Okay, we took a big swing with this outfit. The sneakers are already colorful and fun, so we decided to play up the trendiness with a pair of gurkha pants, which have adjustable side tabs.
A boxy t-shirt and gold chain complete the fashion-forward look.

EFFORTLESS GENT SAYS: The Nike Dunk Lows are the “pop of color” in the outfit, so we’re keeping everything else relatively muted. A palette of blue and grey, topped off with a cream-colored beanie, is the perfect way to let the sneaks shine.
Depending how cold it is, throw on the quilted vest over your denim jacket for extra warmth and insulation, or ditch the jacket completely and pair the long sleeve tee with your quilted vest for extra soft coziness.

STYLE GIRLFRIEND SAYS: Our team is very excited that the workwear trend appears to be here to stay. These Madewell pants have a wide leg, which works really well with the high top Blazer.
Cuff them so your socks are just barely showing.

EFFORTLESS GENT SAYS: The Nike Blazers are a bit more menswear neutral-friendly here, so we’re taking a slightly more daring approach to the outfit. The nice thing about menswear neutrals is that all the colors generally work well together.

The olive chinos, white T-shirt, and black Polo sweatshirt are easy-going and simple, letting the scarf take visual center stage. Then we class it up with the large coat to stay warm and finish off the outfit.

STYLE GIRLFRIEND SAYS: Love to see a man wearing pink with confidence. The hue of this Percival sweater is flattering on pretty much every skintone, too, so you can rest easy knowing you’ll look great in it.

EFFORTLESS GENT SAYS: We’re leaning a bit lumberjack rugged with this outfit. The washed denim, thermal long sleeve, and flannel overshirt feels woodsy and warm.
When you toss the Nike Killshots into the mix, coupled with the donegal wool bomber, you’re right at home hanging at the cabin (or your local coffee shop with a friend).
