On October 14, the 42-year-old Marvel actor confirmed his updated relationship status with 26-year-old Alba Baptista at New York Comic Con. “I got married,” Evans told the crowd while wearing his gold wedding band, according to Page Six. “It was really, really great.”
If it feels like only yesterday that the actors were linked romantically, it’s because their relationship was first reported in November 2022—after the pair had already been quietly dating for “over a year.” Apparently people in Hollywood actually can keep a secret.

October 14, 2023: Evans reveals the pair actually had two wedding ceremonies during an appearance at New York Comic Con. “We kind of had two ceremonies. We had one on the East Coast, we did one in Portugal—my wife’s Portuguese,” he said, per Page Six. “But they were just…wonderful and beautiful. It’s a lot planning a wedding—for those of you who are married, you know, it takes a lot out of you.”
He continued, “But now that we’re through that, we’ve just kind of been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn—my favorite season. It’s, like, the best time of year right now. Now we’re just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting.”
