TIL that Sydney Sweeney’s boyfriend is just a guy from Chicago named Jon, and basically everything I thought I knew about him and their relationship is wrong. If you, like me (I can admit it), were ever taken in by the rumors that Sweeney and Glen Powell were more than just co-stars on the set of Anyone But You, that’s probably just because you didn’t know anything about the Euphoria star’s real life partner, Jonathan Davino. At least, that’s her theory.
“I’ve been in a steady relationship for a really long time, which is not normal in this industry and not normal for my age,” Sweeney told Glamour UK in her cover interview. “What I’ve noticed about the idea of celebrity is people really love to build someone up, and then tear them down.”

Sweeney and Davino, 38, have been together for six years, and Sweeney says most of the things she’s seen being said about her partner are just flat out not true. “He’s not a restaurateur. I have no idea where that came from. He’s also not the heir of a pizza company,” she tells Glamour UK. “He’s a business guy. He’s from Chicago.”
His real job is producer, Sweeney says, and they produced Anyone But You together. “Jonathan is my producing partner, so he helped put the whole thing together. It’s really great to work with someone who knows you so well, who fully supports your ideas, your vision and your voice.”
