The Fashion Awards 2023 took place in London on Monday (December 4), where the Designer of the Year Award, which recognises a British or international designer whose innovative collections have made a notable impact on the industry, defining the shape of global fashion – went to Jonathan Anderson for JW Anderson and Loewe, which was presented by Josh O’Connor.
You won’t be surprised to see (the now London-based) Taylor Russell in attendance supporting Jonathan Anderson.
Not only did she walk in the Spring 2023 show and feature in the Fall 2022 campaign, but she also wears Loewe on the red carpet. Only Greta Lee has worn Loewe more times this year.
Taylor brought botanical elegance to the event wearing a bespoke Loewe handmade crystal broach bust which you will recognise from the Spring 2024 collection.
Taylor could have worn the jeans and still would have made a style statement – because she’s that girl – but she styled the bust with a slinky floor length silk skirt which elevated the look.

You may remember Kit Connor from the Vogue World Party early this year where he gave us our first at the Loewe Spring 2024 embellished trousers.
On this occasion he wore a Loewe Fall 2023 look that had a lot less sparkle, yet the same level of flare.
Considering it rained last night, the actor did well to remain raindrop free in this satin look.

I love Dan Levy, but he didn’t sell those Loewe embellished high waisted jeans which I was just referring to.
I think the tuxedo jacket (and the white shirt) is killing the vibe.
I may have settled for a crop jacket, or black shirt, but the top half and the bottom half are very much at odds with each other.

If you adore Kit Connor’s style as much as I do, you will be delighted to see the British actor wearing this Loewe Fall 2023 which didn’t ooze his once preferred school boy charm, yet it was still charming nonetheless.
