The ‘Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire’ premiere was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California, on Wednesday (December 13) with Sofia Boutella stealing the spotlight.
The actress, who usually goes the less is more approach to red carpet dressing, made a loud statement on this red carpet wearing a Giambattista Valli Pre-Fall 2023 red strapless dress.
Sofia isn’t a gala gown kinda girl, so I was initially surprised to see her rock this look, but with a draped skirt train this felt less princessy than a full skirt, therefore she was able to imbue her usual edgy style.
Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps completed her look.
I know people will tell me that “creases are inevitable,” but they really did kill all that was good about Djimon Hounsou’s peach and orange suit which he styled with the perfect pair of ivory Christian Louboutin Dandelion loafers.
I’m crushed.
As we all know, total runway looks from Louis Vuitton can be tricky – unless your name is Jennifer Connelly – and Doona Bae it would seem.
I did wonder if this two-tone oversize leather jacket, and white silk double layer long skirt accented with a black leather belt would ever make it on the red carpet as a total look. I had pictured it being split up.
Doona Bae brought plenty of personality to the look, even selling the look with Louis Vuitton’s Olympia leather boots.
Ed Skrein made me swoon over his shades of desert brown look.
Katherine McNamara looked chic wearing a black crepe long sleeve cocktail dress with a satin bow skirt and fringe detailing from the Azzi & Osta Sequence 10 collection.
