Katie Holmes was serving up some street style inspiration when she was spotted out in SoHo New York after Christmas.
While most of us were shopping online in our PJs taking advantage of the Boxing Day sales, Katie was looking as lovely as ever proving that a pop of colour goes a long way.
Dressed in a black turtleneck with ANOTHER TOMORROW high waisted denim trousers, I adore how the Patou stripe-pattern virgin wool coat gives Katie’s look a fresh feel, which is on point considering how mild the weather was in December.
Grey tones are often overlooked in outerwear, particularly when you compare them to the popularity of black, navy and camel.
Seeing Katie, I’m wondering why, because the grey coat alleviated the heaviness out of the look.
It has been said that a grey coat looks more classic when styled with black winter accessories, but Katie’s red Patou Le Patou leather bag added a cheery festive feel.
Looking at the person in the background, it looks like Katie wasn’t the only one who wanted a dopamine hit.
