My genuine first thought when I saw these pictures of Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber was that there must have been some runway show that I missed. The single line of chairs. The crossed legs. The thoughtful tilts of the chin. But no, Bieber, Jenner, and their pals Lauren Perez and Sarah Staudinger (the designer behind the trendy fashion label STAUD) are not, in fact, taking in some new couture line. They’re having a girls’ night out at the LA Lakers game on January 15.

Perhaps I should have known from Bieber’s backwards baseball cap that this was not an Anna Wintour-attended event. The Rhode-founder’s dressed down look also included a gray henley t-shirt, wide-legged jeans, and her usual oversized leather jacket. Bieber appeared to be leaning into TikTok’s new favorite “mob wife aesthetic” with her makeup look, which included dark lips, heavily shaped brows, and a long French manicure.
