Louis Vuitton Revives Iconic Styles From the 2000s

The aughts have returned in full force and its not leaving anytime soon. A defining factor of the decade? Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram styles: the Monogram Denim and the Monogram Vernis.

For the new year, Louis Vuitton hits refresh on the monogram with LV Remix, a collection that revives its icons from the 2000s – but with a twist.

In LV Remix, Louis Vuitton expands the identity of the Denim and the Vernis – the former introduced in 2005, the latter in 2000 – through a selection of bag, shoe and accessory styles. Fans can look forward to bucket hats, platform boots, espadrilles and – very 2000s – open-toe mules alongside the Croissant, which was first introduced in 2002. For lovers of the Alma BB, the LV Remix version even comes with a claw clip that you can attach to the handle if you so please – it doesn’t get more Y2K than that.

Even the best-selling fragrances are not left out of the LV Remix treatment: Spell on You, Imagination and Attrape-Rêves are wrapped up in bright hues so reminiscent of the vigour of the aughts.

Fronting the campaign are friends of the maison Bridgerton‘s Phoebe Dynevor, Shay Mitchell, Nana Ouyang and Lous & the Yakuza.

We don’t know about you, but entering the new year with a piece of legacy from an iconic time in history sounds like a good idea. The LV Remix collection is available in stores and online now.
