Is it just me or is this look totally evermore coded? On January 9, Taylor Swift was photographed arriving at the recording studio in New York City, wearing an autumnal color palette of muted browns and forest green. It’s giving “Willow.” It’s giving “Champagne Problems.”
Or maybe it’s giving an album yet to come.
Swift’s ensemble consisted of a deep green sweater midi-dress layered under a tan wool coat, which she accessorized with a slouchy, caramel leather YSL handbag and black leather riding boots. She added a few gold necklaces and, as always, a red lip.
This is actually the second green dress Swift has worn publicly this week. To the Golden Globes on January 7, the songwriter wore a shimmering, bright green gown that landed her at the top of everyone’s Best Dressed list. Now, if you’ll allow me to get a little conspiracy-minded for a moment, no Swift era has yet featured green as its primary color theme (though it has been used as an accent). Could this be a preview of the color palette on Swift’s next album?
When it comes to Taylor Swift, you can never completely rule out the possibility of an Easter egg, right?
