The 2024 Fifteen Percent Pledge Benefit Gala was held at Paramount Studios on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Fear of God appears to be the label of the moment following Donald Glover and David Beckham’s looks from last week.
While I initially struggled with Tracee Ellis Ross’ style shift, I’m so into this inspired Fear of God Fall 2023 faux fur coat which says goodbye to stealth wealth, and hello to mob-wife winter.
From the coat to the oversized corset belt and the hair, this mob-wife look feels Brooklyn or New Jersey inspired.
The only thing missing are a pair of oversized shades.
I believe that if North West was critiquing Ashley Graham’s Hanifa Leah feather gown, she would refer to it as “beachy.”
And I would share the same sentiment.
The feathers were truly flying at this event with Dree Hemingway wearing a No Sesso Couture gown, which looks like Oscar the Grouch has Big Bird, and few member of Fraggle Rock in a headlock.
I have to say I love the uniqueness of the look, and she wears it amazing well.
Robin Thede’s Hanifa feathered gown had a Motown ‘60s vibe about it.
Sophia Bush returned to the red carpet wearing a magenta Harbison Studio Resort 2024 gown.
Aside from the fit, and the colour, I love how the gown delicately spotlights a sensual cut-out detail beneath the sweetheart neckline.
This was a typically breath-taking moment for Sophia.
If you’re having a case of deja vu, it might be because Camila Alves wore a similar version of this dress to the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala.
Kelly Rowland loves an architectural moment.
The singer served up with an effortless grace wearing a Benchellal design which isn’t as easy to pull off as she’s making it appear.
Sabrina Elba had a sensual moment wearing a Kwame Adusei body sculpting Kazi dress with Saint Laurent pumps.
I love how Jordyn Woods did something other than the body-con dress for this event.
Having just returned from Haute Couture Fashion Week, she appears to have expanded her horizons fashion wise, as this Harbison Studio dress shows.
Unfortunately, the styling is working against the dress.
Is it me, or does Laura Harrier appear to find similar dresses despite the label.
On this occasion her Ferragamo Spring 2024 black halter dress could have come from any of her red carpet outings from the last calendar year.
Yes she looks amazing, and this is very much her thing, but I would love to see something different from her.
