Here is a roundup from the 2024 Producers Guild Awards which took place in LA on Sunday.
Ali Wong continues to be the risk-taker of the 2024 awards season.
What I’m most surprised about when it comes to this Erdem Fall 2023 look is the colour palette, as the actress usually loves a bold hue moment.
I’m less surprised by the exaggerated puff-topped opera gloves, as they sit within Ali’s “the bolder the better” remit.
You may remember that Tracee Ellis Ross was the first person to bring those gloves to the red carpet, back in the days when she was considered a risk-taker.
But now Tracee Ellis Ross’ red carpet M.O. is considerably quieter.
Like this Ferragamo Spring 2024 grey halter gown, which did have some bite to it thanks to the leather collar detail and the styling.
America Ferrera is having a moment with bows, but this time accented was on top of her head which amplified the charm oozing from her Patou Fall 2024 black halter neck gown that just debuted in Paris.
The gown is embroidered with pearl detailing that form the shape of a polka dot which is an homage to one of Jean Patou’s iconic themes and something we saw throughout the whole Fall 2024 collection.
De Beers jewels completed her look.
Carey Mulligan also opted for all black wearing a custom Givenchy silk velvet dress with a twisted bustier and asymmetrical strap embellished with bows.
I wasn’t a fan of Danielle Brooks’ SAG Awards look, but this Prabal Gurung Fall 2024 fringed shearling accented look was a lot more fun.
De Beers jewels completed her look.
This Tony Ward dress is doing wonders for Hannah Waddingham. Mummification never looked so good.
Graziela jewels completed her look.
Lily Gladstone wore a bespoke Emilia Wickstead cedar green floral jacquard gown.
This shade of green was perfect for her skin-tone.
These Harbison bralette dresses continue to be popular, as showcased by Sandra Oh.
Often the actress goes overboard with the details, but this was a refreshing muted look for the actress.
