Danai Gurira arrives at the Premiere For AMC+ "The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live"

The first episode of ‘The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live’ will air in the US on February 25, and Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, has served up three looks so far this week promoting the new series.

Ask me how many people can pull off a purple lip and a yellow gown, and the list will have only two names on it, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o.

Last night the actress was a vision in yellow wearing a Fendi strapless embellished gown which just looked glorious on her skin.

We are used to seeing Danai in more complex designs, but so long as she keeps serving up bold colours, I will continue to love her looks.

It’s not only Austin Butler who was serving up a bold shoulder look this week, as the trend continued with Danai who wore an Alexandre Vauthier cinnabar red short sleeve oversize lurex jacket from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection.

The piece didn’t need much in terms of styling as it pretty much speaks for itself.

However, as the jacket is all-encompassing, I personally wouldn’t have worn the tall boots.

Maticevski’s knowledge of construction and fabric manipulation shines through this Link Gradient top and Sandalwood fringe skirt from the Resort 2023 collection.

There is no such thing as a simple LBD for Danai, so I’m not surprised she gravitated towards statement look.
