Emma Stone Wore Givenchy Haute Couture To The 2024 Directors Guild of America Awards

Emma Stone attended the 2024 Directors Guild of America Awards held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday.

Some people might get excited at the fact that Emma isn’t wearing Louis Vuitton and immediately favour this Givenchy Spring 2003 Haute Couture gown designed by Julien Macdonald

But my eyes immediately fell to the bodice, because of how glaringly unflattering it is.

Granted Emma doesn’t fill the bodice like the model, but that doesn’t mean that modifications could not have been made to make this outing present a better outcome.

The car wash skirt also looks like it has been through the wringer a few times.

This is really disappointing, because this could have been good if some more effort had been put into it.

Taking a dress like this out of storage, placing it on your client and hoping it sells itself because it’s not LV wasn’t the right course of action here.
