Greta Gerwig was back on the red carpet for the 2024 Directors Guild of America Awards held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday, where the director received the Feature Film Medallion Award.
We love a sophisticated glamour moment for Greta, and this custom Balmain off-the-shoulder tailored gown featuring jewelled buttons reflecting Olivier Rousteing’s penchant for power suiting while adding a decadent finish, was just that.
This gown was beautifully structured with an internal corset creating the ultimate feminine silhouette.
No necklace was needed, but I did find myself side eyeing the pearls with those buttons, and I was also wishing one more fitting was had to take an inch off the hemline.
Those are two minor nit-picks, because this sees Greta get back on track this awards season.
