Janelle Monáe continued her love affair with floral accented two-piece looks for the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy gala held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday.
Perhaps that is the singer’s new theme for this Grammy weekend, temporarily replacing her black-and-white theme which I feel will always be part of her style repertoire.
When I first saw the singer-actress in this custom Nicole + Felicia Couture look, I thought it was a modification of the Tamara Ralph Fall 2023 Couture gown that Beyonce wore during her Renaissance World Tour.
The gold floral accents on the bust took me down that path, but they are more pronounced with a 3D effect on Janelle’s look.
What I like most about this look is how Janelle has quietened things down on the accessories front, only adding a floral choker and a selection of jewels from Azlee.
