Jennifer Lopez Wore Two Valentino Haute Couture Looks For SNL

Stylists and editors will be messaging PRs as looks are gliding down the runway for their clients or editorials.

But when you’re Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn; you are seated behind your client Jennifer Lopez in the front row, and you can hand-pick looks for her next engagement.

For JLo that was Saturday Night Live, where she arrived at the studio in New York City dressed in Look 6 from the Valentino Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection.

For most, a Haute Couture look to simply walk into a studio might be considered OTT, but this is JLo we are talking about.

I love the sleekness of the long sleeveless wool coat, but she lost me with the gloves.

I just can’t unsee the fact that they look like washing up gloves, and I’m not a fan of how baggy they are.

I think JLo was supposed to wear them up to her shoulders, but she wanted to show a bit of skin, despite showing plenty with the sheer top.

Chloé sunglasses, a Valentino Garavani VLOGO Moon Hobo bag and platforms courtesy of Dolce & Gabbana completed her look.

I gasped when I saw this second Valentino Spring 2024 Haute Couture look she wore onset.

This was a path that JLo should consider taking again in the near future as I adore this sophisticated, tailored style of glamour that we rarely see from her.

From two Haute Couture looks, JLo gave us a more recognisable ready-to-wear look from one of her go-to labels: David Koma.

They work so well together because David subscribes to JLo’s more is more approach, even if this dress is longer, and more muted than we are used to.

Christian Louboutin Astrilarge Strass boots amped up the look.

Which look was your favourite?
