Jessica Chastain attended the 2024 Film Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday, where she was nominated in the Best Lead category for ‘Memory.’
As you know, my biggest bugbear is illusion necklines, so the first thing I did when I saw Jessica in this Oscar de la Renta dress was zoom.
What I noticed is that no illusion neckline exists, as the corset – and plenty of tape – is holding up this blue fern threadwork gown.
It looks like Fernando Garcia and Laura Kim took in all the notes they received from how bad the lining was on Selena Gomez’s Emmys gown, and recreated this gown in blue, adding the fringed detail we saw on Sydney Sweeney, and made the best version of those gowns for Jessica.
Third time really is the charm.
