Margot Robbie attended the Warner Bros.’ ‘Barbie’ Los Angeles special screening held at the Academy Museum on Tuesday.
While I’m disappointed that the actress wasn’t nominated for an Oscar, I’m sure we will still see the actress on Oscar night, as ‘Barbie’ received eight Oscar nominations including Best Picture.
Ryan Gosling, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, put out a very touching statement in support of Margot and Greta Gerwig who weren’t nominated.
We need more Ryan Gosling’s in this world.
Speaking at this event with co-stars, when the Australian actress and producer was asked about the snub, she said “There’s no way to feel sad when you know you’re this blessed.”
Much like Ryan Gosling, Margot opted to support the film wearing a Chinti & Parker x Barbie Astro Barbie sweater.
The sweater injected plenty of personality and a fun element into her stylish Bottega Veneta oversized double-breasted jacket and Bottega Veneta jeans.
