On Thursday in London, Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos attended a two second special screenings of their film, ‘Poor Things,’ which has been nominated for eleven BAFTAs including Best Actress and Best Film.

Emma didn’t really wear two looks, but seeing as we have two events and two sets of pictures, I’m going to talk about each individually.

Starting with this grey Khaite wool-blend Bontin longline coat from the Fall 2023 collection.

Looking at Emma in this coat, you might think we are experiencing arctic temperatures in London.

It’s cold, yes, yet my feeling is that the addition of this coat is more of a fashion statement, and I ain’t mad at it, because it is a stunning coat, and it’s one of her better outerwear looks that we have seen this week.

The coat is purposely oversized, yet I feel like Emma could have sized down…two times.

For a second screening, the actress removed the coat to reveal a simple tank top and skirt from Louis Vuitton (which is her second vinyl skirt this year).

I love how the vinyl fabrication gives this skirt rebellious twist, because Emma’s recent looks have fallen a bit flat, and this injects some much-needed energy.

A jewel button adds a polished flourish, as do her Manolo Blahnik Hourani patent-leather sandals.
