Meghan Markle Just Broke Royal Nail Protocol With This '00sInspired Manicure

Less than a year after breaking up up with Spotify, Meghan Markle has a new podcast bestie: Lemonada Media.

The Duchess of Sussex, whose popular but short-lived Archetypes podcast lived for a one-and-done season on Spotify exclusively, has signed a new deal, which includes the distribution of Archetypes across all streaming platforms.

She will also “also develop a new original podcast series as yet untitled hosted by Meghan,” according to an announcement on the recently revamped sussex.com.

“As we’ve started development with The Duchess of Sussex, we are blown away by her collaborative spirit and clear vision, along with her deep desire to build compassion and community through this work,” Lemonada chief creative officer and cofounder Stephanie Wittels Wachs said in the statement. “The Lemonada team felt immediate kinship with Meghan and the Archewell Productions team, and we are delighted to be working together.”

In Markle’s own words, the duchess expressed her “love of podcasting” and excitement at partnering with a female-founded company. Lemonada is also home to the podcasts of TikTok sensation Elyse Myers, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jennette McCurdy, and more. Its motto is “Making life suck less, one podcast at a time.” Sounds good to me!

In addition to using her voice in the podcast world, Markle dipped a toe back into acting recently, when she cameoed in an ad for Clevr lattes, a company she’s invested in. Throughout the spot, the recognizable Suits star appears in the background as if she’s just another employee. Remember, in between her stints as a TV lawyer and Deal or No Deal presenter, she was also an early influencer with her lifestyle site The Tig. So it looks like Meghan Markle will be plenty busy this 2024.
