I was delighted to see that most of you shared my enthusiasm for Miley Cyrus’ Maison Margiela and Dolly Parton hair, which she didn’t switch up despite serving up four more looks for the Grammys, where she won two awards for Best Solo Performance and Record of the Year for ‘Flowers.’

For the performance of her Grammy-award winning song, the singer – a known Mackie fan – donned a vintage silver beaded, fringe bodysuit with a bralette top from Bob Mackie’s Fall/Winter 2002 ‘To Broadway With Love’ collection.

This was the perfect design to honour her history-making moment, and her theme for the night which was definitely an ode to iconic women who had pathed the way for her.  In this case the look was feeling very Cher inspired.

Donning a second look from Bob Mackie’s ‘To Broadway with Love’ collection, some might feel that the beaded fringe trim on the lace bustier made this look a bit cheesy, but if anything it keeps the look on theme for me.

The trim nods to her country roots, while the outfit is giving Olivia Newton-John in the final act of ‘Grease’ vibes.

The singer collected one of her awards wearing a black Tom Ford halter neck jumpsuit embroidered with black tube beads which would not look out of place on the dance floor at Studio 54.

As we’ve come to learn – thanks to Jessica Chastain – Gucci’s creative director Sabato De Sarno loves a custom sequinned embellished dress.

I’m not convinced by the Gucci Bamboo 1947 handbag with this sensual cut-out dress.  It feels way too daytime for a dress of this magnitude, especially when styled with a feather boa.

Matching Gucci Signoria brown leather pumps completed her look.

Which of these four were your favourite?

The Mackie is a clear winner for me, but the Gucci -sans bag- isn’t far behind.
